Business plan puts Jacksonville at top of list in funding for uninsured kids

Jacksonville will receive up to $260,000 for local outreach efforts to enroll children and families in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. The city is one of eight municipalities chosen to receive funding based on business plans submitted several months ago to the National League of Cities.
