Miami, FL (PRWEB) December 30, 2014

Kendall gets ready to welcome the premier, all-natural lice removal service. Lice Troopers is now expanding, with a new salon clinic location scheduled to open January, 2015. Located at 2100 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Coral Gables, FL 33146, the clinic will provide a convenient location for families in Kendall and Coral Gables, as well as Sunset, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest and South Miami.

The company will continue to provide screening and treatment services by house call—a favorite among busy parents—and at their original location in Bay Harbor Islands (1005 Kane Concourse, Suite 212, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154). But with increased demand for a lice removal option that is chemical-free, all-natural, safe for children of all ages and environmentally friendly, a second clinic was a necessity.

According to Arie Harel, owner and operator of Lice Troopers, the company will continue to expand not only in the Florida area but nationwide. “We’ve had nothing but success with Lice Troopers and the skilled lice removal services we provide. Our family has been in the business for over twenty-five years, and we look forward to bringing this service to as many areas as possible so that families have the natural lice removal options they can trust and feel good about.”

To promote their Grand Opening and to begin getting to know the community, Lice Troopers will be offering free head lice screenings at the new Coral Gables treatment center. Families can receive free screenings January 4-7, every day from 10:00am to 2:00pm, on a first come, first served basis.

Lice Troopers is the all-natural, guaranteed Head Lice Removal Service™ that manually removes the head louse parasite safely and discreetly in two child-friendly salon settings, or other chosen location. Providing safe solutions for frantic families, the Lice Troopers team has successfully treated thousands of families nationwide, with services widely recommended by pediatricians and reimbursed by many major health insurance carriers, flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.

2014 Healthy Americas Survey Released by the National Alliance for Hispanic Health

Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 30, 2014

“According to the CDC, Hispanics have the longest life expectancy, but based on this poll we are at a tipping point in Hispanic health with risks on the horizon from drinking sugary sodas, not eating five or more servings of fruits and vegetables each day, and lack of access to health care,“ said Dr. Jane L. Delgado, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Hispanic Health.

The Alliance today released results of the 2014 Healthy Americas Survey, a bilingual phone
survey with a nationally representative sample of 846 respondents fielded from February 16th to
March 2nd of this year. The survey was supported by the Healthy Americas Foundation and a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Key findings included:· Soda Consumption. During the past 30 days, half (53%) of Hispanics and non-Hispanic blacks (51%) report drinking sugary soda daily or weekly compared to 37% of non-Hispanic whites.
· Fruits and Vegetables. Hispanics (7%) and non-Hispanic blacks (8%) are significantly less likely than non-Hispanic whites (18%) to report eating 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables on average each day.
· Usual Source of Care. About one in four (27%) Hispanics report not having a usual place to go to when they are sick or need advice about health compared to 17% of non-Hispanic blacks and 7% of non-Hispanic whites.
· Worry About Cost of Care. 40% of Hispanics report that they would be very worried about affording care if they got sick or had an accident compared to 22% of non-Hispanic blacks and 11% of non-Hispanic whites.

“We can do better as a nation in prevention. All communities need access to health insurance, affordable fruits and vegetables, and opportunities for physical activity. We need to give parents tools and support to create a healthier future for themselves and their children. It is an agenda for a Healthy America,” concluded Dr. Delgado.

Core Documents Reduces the Price of the One-Person Section 105 Health Reimbursement Arrangements HRA Plan Document from $164 to $149 one-time fee

$

Core Documents' one-person Section 105 HRA Plan Documents allow Sole Proprietors, S Corporations, C Corporations, Churches, and LLCs to deduct 100% of health insurance and out-of-pocket medical, dental, and vision expenses for an average $5,000 tax savings.

Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) December 31, 2014

Core Documents, the nations premier provider of affordable Section 125 Cafeteria and HRA plan documents has reduced the one-time charge for their one-person Section 105 HRA Plan Document from $164 to just $149 for the PDF email version.

Section 105 of the Internal Revenue Code permits a self-employed person to set up a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) for tax-free repayment of major qualified medical expenses not covered under a health plan. Alternately, that self-employed individual may hire a salaried employee (read: his/her spouse) and offer that employee an HRA. If the latter choice is made, the benefits offered will not only cover the employee, but also his/her spouse and dependents. So if the new hire is the business owner’s spouse, what results is effectively a family healthcare expense account.

Most sole proprietors need to hire someone to get this perk. But, it is possible to set up a Section 105 plan without hiring an employee if your business is a C-corp, an S-corp, or an LLC that files its federal tax return as a corporation. In a corporate structure, the corporation is defined as the employer and the business owner is defined as a salaried employee.

The good news is the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) didn't change the one-person Section 105 options the way it did for 2+ employee HRA plans. When the IRS issued Notice 2013-54 as a follow-up to the Affordable Care Act, most 2+ employee businesses lost the chance to offer a discrete comprehensive medical reimbursement plan. One-employee HRAs are still allowed under Section 105 using group or individual insurance coverage.

Core Documents Adds a New $99 PDF Email Option for Section 125 Premium Only Plan Document

$

0
The new $99 Section 125 Premium Only Plan PDF email version is a one-time setup fee for a custom prepared, compliance reviewed IRS and DOL required document, not an annual recurring charge for an automated document like their competitors, that may or may not be compliant.

Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) December 31, 2014

Core Documents, the nations premier provider of affordable Section 125 Cafeteria and HRA plan documents since 1997 has reduced the price of their Section 125 Premium Only Plan document from $114 to only $99.

Internal Revenue Code Section 125 allows employees to purchase health insurance and other ancillary benefits tax-free. A Section 125 Plan legally allows employees to use pretax or tax-free dollars to pay their portion of health insurance premiums and other ancillary benefits premiums.

Utilizing a Section 125 Plan makes qualifying insurance premiums more affordable to employees, where they can save 23%-40% of their pretax Section 125 premium deductions just in federal income tax alone. For the employer, a Section 125 Plan eliminates the 7.65% in employer-matching Social Security and Medicare taxes, in addition to some Federal and State unemployment taxes. Depending on the state, employers may also be eligible for workers compensation savings. The bottom line is: employers who establish Section 125 Plans recoup the small $99 one-time setup fee quickly and then continue to realize tax savings year after year.

Core Documents provides employers with everything they need to establish an IRS- and DOL-compliant Section 125 POP Plan in PDF form for just $99. This cost reflects a one-time setup fee, not an annual charge like their competitors.

Core Documents, Inc. has been providing free consulting, affordable plan documents, and plan updates as needed for Section 125 Cafeteria Plans and Health Reimbursement Arrangements since 1997. Core Documents Adds $99 ERISA Summary Plan Description (SPD) Wrap Documents January 1, 2015 for Fully-Insured Group Health Insurance and Supplemental Benefit Plans

ERISA requires that the sponsors of group health plans comply with certain disclosure requirements including the requirement to supply employees with an SPD. The Department of Labor has stepped up employer audits focused on the ERISA SPD Wrap document.

Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) December 31, 2014

Core Documents, the nation’s premier provider of affordable Section 125 Cafeteria and HRA plan documents, has announced that they are offering ERISA Summary Plan Description Wrap documents starting January 1, 2015 for a $99.00 one-time fee.

ERISA requires that the sponsors of group health plans comply with certain disclosure requirements including the requirement to supply employees with an SPD. To be legally compliant with ERISA, an SPD must have certain statutorily defined specific information about the underlying plan that is specific to the employer and is not contained in the Certificate of Coverage supplied by your health insurance carrier. Thus, your SPD must include one or more documents you prepare and adopt in addition to the documents provided by your carrier; the documents supplied by your group insurance carriers are not a sufficient SPD.

The ERISA Group Insurance Summary Plan Description (SPD) Wrap document has been a Department of Labor (DOL) requirement for years, but not really policed. It’s become an issue recently as the DOL has stepped up audit activity where the ERISA required SPD Wrap for group health insurance plans has been their focus.

See a recent Core Documents blog post with more details at: Employers must prepare an ERISA Wrap SPD to supplement the Certificate of Insurance
