AIS Health Names Top 10 Fastest-Growing Health Plans; Attributes Their Growth to Diversified Product Lines

According to AIS’s Directory of Health Plans, Cambia Health Solutions was the fastest growing health plan in the U.S. from 2016 to 2017, with a 52% increase in membership..

(PRWEB) July 12, 2017

According to data from AIS’s Directory of Health Plans, 61% of U.S. health insurers that were active in both 2016 and 2017 experienced a net increase in membership over the year. Via a combination of acquisitions and organic growth strategies, some mid-sized plans are growing more quickly than their larger rivals, as measured by a percentage of covered lives.

The top 10 plans with a million or more members that saw the highest percentage of growth over one year are:

1.    Cambia Health Solutions
2.    Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida
3.    WellCare Health Plans
4.    Molina Healthcare
5.    Inland Empire Health Plan
6.    Centene Corporation
7.    Kaiser Permanente
8.    UPMC Health Plan
9.    Tufts Associated Health Plans
10.    CareSource

AIS Health’s Director of Data Solutions Susan Namovicz-Peat was “surprised” by the number of mid-sized companies topping the list. “Traditionally we see enrollment gains from the big players in the industry, but as a percentage of a plan’s overall membership, we saw that some of the mid-sized players have made large gains, as they have become more aggressive with acquisitions and have diversified,” she said.

Many mid-sized insurers’ enrollment figures in the individual market benefitted from reduced competition as multiple major insurers, most notably Aetna and UnitedHealthcare, reduced their public exchange presence or dropped out altogether. Some mid-sized companies opted to increase their public-sector presence, either via expanding into new states or counties, or by acquisitions.

More information about these companies’ enrollment growth are detailed in a new report from the AIS Health data team, “Top 10 Fastest-Growing Health Plans Thrive by Diversifying Product Lines.” Access the free report in the “In-App Downloads” section of the demo of AIS’s Directory of Health Plans — Online Version at https://aishealthdata.com/dashboard/dhp/demo/dhp.

Each year, AIS Health’s in-house research team collects the latest enrollment figures, by sector and by state, for all U.S. health plans, to create AIS’s Directory of Health Plans, the industry's most trusted resource for health plan market analysis. Through personal interviews or surveys with a knowledgeable person at all known health insurers in the country — including subsidiaries and parent companies — the researchers get a clear picture of product offerings, contracts and markets, ensuring that each covered life is counted only once, and is categorized by plan models that are defined in a consistent and meaningful manner which reflect the current industry. By maintaining impeccable research standards and strict methodology through 14 annual editions, the Directory offers extremely accurate and sensitive insight into developing trends.

The all-new 2017 edition of AIS’s Directory of Health Plans has just been released, and is available in various formats — an interactive website, data files on a USB flash drive or a printed book. Freedom for New Hampshire: Jilletta Jarvis Candidate for Governor

0

Via The Daily Bell

Note: Jilletta Jarvis is not related to Joe Jarvis, and the two did not know each other before this interview.

Do you see New Hampshire as the perfect place to experiment with government?

Jilletta Jarvis: I think it is the perfect place to prove that freedom is something that was ours to begin with and we can take it back and it’s not going to end the world if we do.

And that by saying we are going to not decide which companies in our state are successful and which are not, we are going to let the people make that decision instead, government is no longer going to fund private companies, we will stop that practice, and we will see that, you know what, if the company fails the company deserved to fail, and if a company succeeds it means the company was doing something right and other companies should emulate that.

But by the government saying, you know, we really want that particular car company to be successful because they provide all the police cars to the state so we are going to fund them we are going to give them extra money, or they are the sole business in this particular town so we are going to funnel money their way to make sure those jobs stay there. Well again, if they want those jobs to stay then they should do business in a way that makes people want to go there.

At the same time, we need to make New Hampshire a more viable option for businesses by looking at the regulations we have for energy. For example, say you have a wonderful array of solar panels on your house and you live in a place where you get great sunlight on your house and you make more electricity than you can use, all year round.

You are allowed to sell that electricity in New Hampshire back to the electric company, but only to the top three. You are only allowed to sell to the top three biggest electric providers in this state by New Hampshire regulations and you are only allowed to sell up to a certain amount per month. Changing regulations like this will help lower energy costs and bring more business to the state.

What is your relationship to New Hampshire Independence?

Jilletta Jarvis: I think that every state should have the right to secede, but according to the federal government they do not. It’s gone to court several times and they have said there is no provision in the Constitution to secede.

However, there is a provision in the New Hampshire constitution. We have the right to secede and I think that if the people of New Hampshire stood up and said Jilletta, you’re our governor we are done and we have whatever percentage of people saying we want you to send this up and we want you to vote for this, then I would support the will of the people of New Hampshire.

And you would be President Jarvis?

Jilletta Jarvis: Which is what we had, in the beginning, there were Presidents of New Hampshire.

Why are you running for Governor?

Jilletta Jarvis: Being a mother, and being employed in New Hampshire, and being a homeowner, are things that force you to have to deal with government decisions on a normal basis, owning a home, having kids in the school system, and having kids in college, along with seeing the plight of others around me faced with the same problems all got me interested in it.

I’ve worked in the financial industry, and I’ve worked in insurance. I taught in the college system of New Hampshire, I managed the training and quality departments in a customer service center for a retail company, and I’ve worked in the medical field.

Before you should go into any job where you are in charge of different aspects of people’s lives you should understand what those aspects are and that’s why I chose to work in these industries before starting my campaign.

Would you say healthcare and insurance are your number one issues?

Jilletta Jarvis: Actually, my number one issue for the state would be lowering the budget. It just raised again, they just passed an $11.7 billion bill but the budget does not show the full health insurance costs or pensions of the state employees.  The budget should be transparent for the common person to understand. I know the Democrats weren’t happy with it because it didn’t put in as many social programs as they would have liked to see and many Republicans weren’t happy with it because it didn’t cut as many programs as they would have liked to see.

I also think that we need to review what we do when we have a surplus in the budget.  With the surplus that we had from last year’s budget, the first thing that the Sununu administration had to decide was what to do with it when they took office in 2017.  They decided that they were going to invest it.

I’ve always thought that this is the money that came from the people of the state.  I understand why they’re investing, it’s so they can make more money off what they have and then they can figure out later what to do with it.

Honestly, that’s your money, that’s his money, her money, that’s our money, and I understand that if it breaks down to $5 per taxpayer, it’s not worth it, hold it in a trust fund until you have enough money to send a check back to the taxpayers of the state, and say, you know what, we had a surplus.

Send a literal check back to the taxpayers of the state, we taxed you too much, we didn’t need it, you can have it back.

You are a third party candidate, and everybody basically thinks there is no chance for third party candidates. Are you in this to win, or to raise awareness, what is the ideal outcome?

Jilletta Jarvis: The ideal outcome would be to win and change the awareness of the entire country. Because only by winning and then proving that smaller government is not a death sentence for New Hampshire, that it is a success for the people of the state, will everyone else see and realize, hey you know, we don’t have to be taxed out of creation, we’re allowed to have a choice and a voice.

New Hampshire already says no income tax, no sales tax, we’re not gonna do this to you, we’re not going to force adults to wear seatbelts, we aren’t going to force adults to buy car insurance. We are going to let you make these choices on your own and with those non-laws, we are in the lower half of the country for states that don’t wear seatbelts, we are in the lower half of states that have uninsured motorists.

I think that having the choice and knowing what the consequences are, allows you the opportunity to say, you know what, it’s my choice and I am making the choice to be safe for my kids, my family, and myself.

Can you expand a bit about the passion behind this; is this a thing where you wake up every morning and look at your children and say I need to do this?

Jilletta Jarvis: I have a 20-year-old daughter, a 21-year-old son and a 7-year-old son and there are times that they say things to me and I just want to do something to fix it now. And I have gone out to bars and restaurants and flea markets, those types of places where everyday people go, so that I can campaign there. Because I want to meet the people that are actually voting, not companies and CEOs. I know they have all the money but I don’t care, I want to meet the actual people.

I have spoken to these people and then I would go home at night where no one was looking anymore and just cry.  I’d just sit there with my husband and say I met this person today who hasn’t been able to leave his home because his PTSD is so bad he still hears gunshots in his sleep and he just can’t leave, and that’s what our military did to him going to Afghanistan.

I have met a person who used to have had a small business, a store that he ran, a great store and he did this wonderful business making computer parts and selling them. Because of changes in small business regulations, he’s had to let all his employees go because he can’t afford to have employees.

Now that affects the business owners but also all their employees as well and the community and now people like the man I mentioned work out of their homes instead of out of a storefront.

When I drive down the road and I see all these little mom and pop shops from when I was young and they all have for sale signs. It tears my heart apart because I grew up here. I have seen these buildings go from thriving mom and pop shops that had people there all the time to sometimes, to a chain Kentucky Fried Chicken, to a vacant lot, to grass coming up through the vacant lot.

How has this community changed? Well, that business is gone, there’s no one paying rent on that lot now, it’s an eyesore no one’s taking care of it, and it is not the only one. That is how our communities have changed and that’s how my state has changed.

As a Libertarian, there aren’t a lot of Libertarians in the legislature, you’ve said you are willing to work with all parties, what does compromise mean to you to actually work with these people and get something done?

Jilletta Jarvis: I feel that appropriate compromise is working for the people. If your constituents are asking you to do something, that is one thing. But if your party is asking you to do something regardless of what your constituents think, that is another.

If you can say to me I had a town hall meeting and my constituents came and said this is what we need, and that’s what I have to fight for, I would say, I’m willing to work with you on that, let’s see how we can compromise on this bill to include what they need, as long as it doesn’t compromise their rights or the rights of others. Let’s talk to everyone else, are their constituents saying the same thing?

At some point, you have to say I understand that you have all gotten used to a certain way of government. It took a long time to get to that point. I mean it took a long time before people were willing to deal with men going topless in public. But now it’s fine and nobody blinks an eye when it happens.

Sometimes you have to take steps toward freedom and show people that it is not a bad thing. And then you have to reevaluate. We don’t ever seem to reevaluate the bills we put into place now. If we write a law, we enact it, and that’s it, we are done, let’s get the police to enforce it. We don’t ever look at that unless someone forces it with a platform of I’m going to fix this.

We need to insert an amendment that says all laws must be reviewed for applicability for this time period. It should be a sunset provision, if you don’t look at it, guess what, it goes away.

Can you give me your pitch for governor?

Jilletta Jarvis: If you want to see someone who actually knows what you are going through, who isn’t looking to make this a stepping stone to the next role, who wants to put in fewer regulations and budget restrictions that go against you, to make a smaller government, to make a smaller budget, I’m the one for you.

Protests galore as ABVP, Dak Sevaks, Bajrang Dal hit street

Urging for the fulfillment of various demands, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), All India Grameen Dak Sevaks Union (AIGDSU) and Bajrang Dal staged separate protests in Chikkamagaluru on Wednesday.

Gathering at Azad Park Circle, ABVP workers urged the state government to extend the benefit of concessional bus passes to the students belonging to other communities. Currently, only students belonging to SC and ST communities are provided with free bus passes. Students from rural areas will be largely benefited if the facility is extended to them, the protestors said. ABVP district organising secretary Siddaraju said the state government is partial towards students of selected communities, they said.

Leaders Shashi Aldur, Chaitra, Padmanabh, Pawan and Niranjan were present.

7th pay commission

Holding a protest meet in front of Chikkamagaluru Head Post Office, members of AIGDSU urged the Union Government to implement the recommendations of seventh pay commission. Though Kamalesh Chandra-headed committee has submitted a report six months ago, no step has been taken towards the implementation, the protestors said.

They meanwhile demanded making the services of rural postal staff permanent, pensions to dak sevaks, Central Government's health insurance and so on.

AIGDSU president K T Sheshanna Gowda said the rural postal staff have not been getting the benefits of the schemes implemented by either the Central Government or the state government. He warned of staging an indefinite stir if the Union Government does not implement the recommendations of the pay commission.
Union secretary Joseph Beretto, treasurer H M Viroopaksha, members B Shivshankar and Hanumantappa were present among others.

Amarnath Yatra

"The task of the protection of pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra should be handed over to Indian Army," urged Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)and Bajrang Dal activists in a protest.

The members raised slogans against extremist organisations, condemning the recent attack on Amarnath pilgrims at a protest meeting held at Azad Park Circle.

Seven people have died and 12 other injured during the terror attacks. This has been the biggest attack in the past 17 years. Despite warnings from the Intelligence department, the Kashmir government has not taken any measures for the protection of the pilgrims, they said.

Bajrang Dal district committee coordinator Tudukuru Manju said the families of each of the deceased pilgrims should be provided with a compensation of Rs 15 lakh.

Leaders Krishna, Ranganath, Kallesh and Janakiram were present. Reported by Deccan Herald 3 hours ago.

There's a 'looming healthcare crisis for the millennial generation' — and it's just getting started

0

There's a 'looming healthcare crisis for the millennial generation' — and it's just getting started People who decide to start their families later are contributing to a "looming healthcare crisis for the millennial generation."

That's according to Claire Tomkins, founder and CEO of the startup Future Family told Business Insider.

In the US, women are waiting longer to have children — a trend that's been increasing happening since the 1970s.

In 2014, the average age of first birth in the US was 26.3, up from 24.9 in 2000, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2015, for the first time women in their 30s were having more babies than younger moms.

As the millennial generation (currently between the ages of 19 and 36) has these babies later in life, challenges can pop up. As women age, their fertility steadily declines, making it more difficult to conceive or have a healthy pregnancy — which could lead to more families turning to costly treatments.

*How trying to have a baby can get expensive fast*

Fertility treatment can be incredibly expensive. Some services fall outside the scope of health insurance, and the cost of one cycle of in-vitro fertilization is on average $23,474 in the US — and it often takes more than one cycle to work. For Tomkins, it cost about $100,000 to start a family.

As a way to increase the chances of having a baby when they're ready, many women consider about freezing their eggs. Dr. Lynn Westphal, a professor of reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford and medical adviser to Future Family, who got involved with egg freezing almost 20 years ago to help preserve fertility for women undergoing chemotherapy, told Business Insider in June that she's seen interest in the procedure change "dramatically" in the last few years, especially among women who are doing it electively.

Some companies have started offering the service as a benefit to women who might be considering the process, even though they have no health issues that would make it medically necessary.

An industry has popped up in recent years to fund these treatments. Future Family's approach, for instance, is to provide testing, concierge care, and financing options for families. Others offer monthly payments for egg-freezing and IVF packages that have money-back guarantees.

But there are no guarantees that the procedures will pay off. Even if women have their eggs frozen — a process that costs around $50,000 — there's a chance they might not need them. And even if they do use them, it's not a fool-proof insurance policy.

"People talk about 'egg banking' as though it’s insurance," Hilda Bastian, chief editor at PubMed wrote in a November 2016 blog post. "I think both 'banking' and “insurance' are misleading ways to look at this. This language gives an impression of more security than freezing eggs can deliver. And it doesn’t convey the health and emotional risks."

TRUMP: If Congress doesn't repeal Obamacare 'I will be very angry about it'

TRUMP: If Congress doesn't repeal Obamacare 'I will be very angry about it' President Donald Trump said in an interview published Wednesday that he would be "angry" with congressional Republicans failed to get a bill that would repeal and replace Obamacare to his desk.

In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network's Pat Robertson, Trump was asked what would happen if Congress was unable to pass a bill to overhaul the healthcare system.

"I will be very angry about it and a lot of people will be very upset," Trump said. "But I'm sitting waiting for that bill to come to my desk. I hope that they do it. They've been promising it for years."

The president said now is the time for repeal, since the GOP controls the White House and Congress.

"Now we have a president that's waiting to sign it," Trump told Robertson. "I have pen in hand so now it means something. You know, those other times, those many, many times, that they passed it, it didn't mean anything."

Trump also pressured Republican senators specifically. Senate Republicans are attempting to move their legislation, the Better Care Reconciliation Act, but it has become a source of major division within the party and it is unclear whether it can pass.

"We have 52 senators," Trump said. "It's very hard to get. ... We need almost all of them. You need almost all of them and that's the hold up. And states are somewhat different. But with all of that being said, it has to get passed. They have to do it."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he will release an updated version of the BCRA on Thursday and is aiming for a vote on the updated bill sometime next week.

"He's got to pull it off. Mitch has to pull it off. He's working very hard. He's got to pull it off," Trump said of the Majority Leader.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated that the BCRA would leave 22 million more Americans without health insurance in 2026 compared to the current baseline. Additional analysis estimated that out-of-pocket-costs and premiums would increase under the BCRA, as well.

Civil rights suit alleges discrimination in Medi-Cal

0

Two civil rights groups and one of the state’s largest labor unions representing hospital workers have sued the state of California, alleging the state-administered Medi-Cal health insurance program for the poor discriminates against Latinos. The action was brought by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, the Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center and the labor union SEIU-UHW. The organizations filed on behalf of four Medi-Cal beneficiaries who say they had to wait months or years to receive health care after many doctors’ offices told them they did not accept Medi-Cal patients because the program reimburses providers at a much lower rate than Medicare, which covers the elderly, or private insurers. “In effect, California has created a separate and unequal system of health care, one for the insurance program with the largest proportion of Latinos, and one for the other principal insurance plans, whose recipients are disproportionately white,” the complaint says. The lawsuit was brought under a state statute that, similar to the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, prohibits discrimination based on race, ethnicity or other protected categories in programs operated by or funded by the state. The objective is to get the state to raise Medi-Cal reimbursement rates and ease administrative hurdles in the program that discourage some doctors from taking on Medi-Cal patients, said attorneys for the plaintiffs. Bill Lann Lee, senior counsel at the Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center, said it is the first time that attorneys have brought a state civil rights case in health care under the theory known as “disinvestment” — that as the population of Medi-Cal beneficiaries evolved from predominantly white to predominantly people of color, the payment rates to providers, which is set by the state, fell. “The rate is so low that it’s a disincentive for doctors to treat Medi-Cal patients, or to treat only very few,” said Lee, who previously served as assistant attorney general in the Justice Department’s civil rights division under President Bill Clinton. The White House made a video attacking the budget office that gave devastating reviews to the GOP healthcare bills

The White House made a video attacking the budget office that gave devastating reviews to the GOP healthcare bills The White House released a video Wednesday attacking the Congressional Budget Office for its brutal reviews of the Republican healthcare bills.

The video, released on Twitter, claims that the analysis by the nonpartisan CBO is based on "faulty assumptions and bad math."

The CBO has said various versions of the Republican healthcare plans would leave between 22 and 23 million more Americans without health insurance in 2026 compared to the current baseline.

The White House video did not go into extensive detail about the assumptions or numbers to which it was referring. Rather, it said the CBO got it wrong on its projections around the Affordable Care Act and predicted the same for the GOP healthcare bills.

The CBO was the closest in estimating the outcome of the law compared with other studies, though some of its projections varied with eventual outcomes. For instance, the White House noted that the CBO projected 23 million people would gain insurance through the Obamacare exchanges. That number was actually 10.3 million, due to the the office's underestimation of the amount of people obtaining coverage through Obamacare's expansion of Medicaid after a 2012 Supreme Court decision.

Overall, however, the CBO projected 89% of Americans would be covered in 2016. The actual number, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, was 89.7%.

The video does fall into line with the CBO attacks from White House officials and other Republican lawmakers since the brutal review of the first House version of legislation.

The White House deleted an original version of the video after spelling "inaccurately" inaccurately, replacing it with a corrected version:

*Here's the re-uploaded video:*

The New World Order Takeover Is Very Real... And Will Begin With Germany And China

0

The New World Order Takeover Is Very Real... And Will Begin With Germany And China Authored by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.com,

*In numerous articles over the years I have outlined in acute detail the agenda for a future one-world economic and governmental system led primarily by banking elites and globalists; an agenda they sometimes refer to as the "New World Order." *The term has gained such public exposure and notoriety recently that the globalists have fallen back to using different terminology. Some of them, like the International Monetary Fund's Christine Lagarde, refer to it as the "global economic reset." Others call it the "new multilateralism." Still others refer to it as the "end of the unipolar order," referring to the slow death of the U.S. economy as the central pillar of the global economy.

Whatever label they decide to use, *all of them signal a full spectrum destabilization of the "old world" financial and geopolitical system and the ascendance of a tightly controlled one world edifice dominated openly by globalist hubs like the IMF and the BIS.*

Too many people, even in the liberty movement, tend to examine only the veneer of this agenda.* Some have deluded themselves into thinking the U.S. and the dollar are actually the core of the NWO and are therefore indispensable to the globalists. *As I have shown time and time again, the Federal Reserve is now on a fast track to complete its sabotage of the U.S. economy; they would not be instigating instability and crisis to deflate the massive fiscal bubbles they have created unless America was at least partially expendable.

*Some believe the NWO is a purely "western" construct and that eastern nations are defending themselves against an encroaching globalist empire.* I have also shown that this is nonsense, and that eastern nations work closely with the same exact globalists they are supposedly at war with. This includes Russia's Vladimir Putin, a figure often ignorantly praised by select liberty activists.

What we see in the mainstream is conflict, yes; but it is theatrical conflict. At the end of the day, Eastern leaders pander to globalist high priests at the IMF and BIS and have lunch with NWO icons like Henry Kissinger, just as heads of the Republican Party and even Donald Trump's family go out to parties with Democrat strategists and George Soros.

*It's all a kabuki play. All the world is a stage...*

So, the question then remains, since the NWO and a one world economic system is in fact a real threat proven to exist through considerable evidence including the very words of prominent globalists, *how does such a thing begin?* If the U.S. is merely a limb that the globalists are willing to sacrifice in trade to gain even greater centralization, where will the NWO actually take root? As noted, *both Eastern and Western nations are at the disposal of the international financiers,* so it should come as no surprise that the *NWO is seemingly taking shape around the relationship between two nations; one from either side.*

As Bloomberg announces with apparent glee in an article titled "China, Germany Step Up As U.S. Retires From World Leadership," *Donald Trump risks "uniting cold war allies and foes alike against him." *In other words, the future is extreme socialism, the populists are a dangerous and dying breed and globalization marches on without them. The narrative is clearly being established.

*The relationship between China and Germany might seem strange, but the two countries are far more alike than many people comprehend.* Germany is the industrial and economic centerpiece of the European Union.  China is the economic and industrial pillar of Asia.  China sells itself as a communist society with capitalist hobbies. Germany sells itself as a capitalist society integrating socialist (communist) programs and social justice mantras. In reality, both nations are collectivist hell-holes, but this is exactly the kind of model the globalists want for the entire world.

Germany has set the stage for the self-flagellating model of "multiculturalism." Angela Merkel is obsessive in her pursuit of the ideal, and this makes sense from a globalist perspective. Multiculturalism requires absolutely uninhibited movement of ideologies and populations across borders, making borders essentially obsolete. Idiot leftists duped by pie-in-the-sky fantasies like "it takes a village to raise a child" have been exploited by the globalists as a tool to push the end of national sovereignty. Merkel's Germany has been at the forefront of this movement in Europe and is now apparently being groomed as an antithesis to Trump.

Germany has also for many years stood as a kind of socialist paradise, with over 25% of their GDP going into entitlement programs so pervasive it is possible for German citizens (women in particular) to live most of their lives without ever having to work. It was this constant flow of tax dollars into welfare programs that attracted a vast number of so-called "refugees" from Islamic countries into the EU, virtually overwhelming the entitlement system and forcing Germany to put restrictions on new citizens.

China has served the NWO model as more of an oppressive economic testing ground. Welfare and universal health insurance is indeed at the forefront of the Chinese government's latest "five year" program. Of course, with hundreds of millions of Chinese living on less than one U.S. dollar per day, the population has no choice but to rely on the generosity of the state. This has molded an economy that is barely tolerable for many, but tolerable enough to keep them from revolting. It is a dynamic the elites would like to apply in every nation.

The Chinese government oversees every aspect of the corporate networks that make up its economy. A Chinese business is in most cases a Chinese government business. There is no such thing as free enterprise in China. China's relationship with globalist institutions is well known. They are one of the first nations to openly call for a new global currency system headed by the IMF and based on the SDR basket. China has also recently been inducted into membership in the SDR basket by the IMF, showing that the back scratching is mutual.

*It is this strategy of elevating the SDR basket and replacing the dollar's world reserve status as a precursor to a global currency that has been brought up time and time again by globalists.* Recently by Mohamad El-Rian, former CEO of PIMCO in an article titled "Could The IMF's World Currency Help Encourage Global Unity?" Take special note that El-Erian suggests the shift into a global currency system as a way to fight back against the recent "rise of populism."

*In order for such a plan to be launched, there has to be some stability somewhere on the world.* While many nations face financial crisis on a scale not seen since the Great Depression, the globalists still need to have places to consolidate capital and establish a beachhead for the next assault on sovereignty. This beachhead may come in the form of an economic union between Germany and China, the two NWO favorites.

China is Germany's largest trading partner and Germany has been the top place for Chinese investment in Europe. Last month Merkel and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with the intention of "deepening ties" in the face of "protectionism" promoted by Donald Trump. Merkel stated:

*"China has become a more important and strategic partner..."*

*"We are living in times of global uncertainty and see our responsibility to expand our partnership in all the different areas and to push for a world order based on law..."*

Germany's ambassador to Beijing, in a recent briefing with reporters leading into G20 stated:

*"The economic and political dynamic from a German perspective is moving toward the east."*

*"The U.S. has left somewhat of a vacuum in the region by abandoning the proposed 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership free-trade agreement..."*

As I have argued since before the 2016 election, Donald Trump's job is to be the catalyst for multiple globalist programs which have actually been in the works for decades.* Trump is now the excuse for everything. *Trump and populism are the excuse for renewed "multilateralism," the excuse for German and Chinese cooperation, the excuse for a new global currency system and, most likely, *the scapegoat for the inevitable final stage of our ongoing economic collapse.*

*Where Trump is supposed to represent the old world order and its "barbarism," Germany and China obviously are being staged as the symbol of something new*; a New World Order in which cooperation and interdependency are the great virtues of our epoch. It is my suspicion that along with Russia and China, Germany will be one of the first nations to fully dump the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency when the time comes to shift into the SDR basket system. And, that time is approaching quickly. It is also my suspicion that the globalists are seeking an economic power base from which to project their NWO, and Germany and China fit the bill nicely.

*I suggest alternative analysts watch the relationship between these two countries very closely. Their behaviors may signal many changes and dangers ahead.* Reported by Zero Hedge 19 hours ago.

#1 Customer-Rated Pet Insurance Provider Reaches Milestone After Unprecedented Growth

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 13, 2017

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance—the #1 customer-rated provider of insurance for dogs and cats—is proud to announce the enrollment of their 250,000th pet. Healthy Paws has experienced extraordinary growth since enrolling their first pet in 2010, and is now a valued member of the industry, known for quality pet health insurance coverage and a top-notch customer experience.

Continuously ranked #1 by Consumer's Advocate, Canine Journal, and Pet Insurance Review, and a recent recipient of an Angie’s List Super Service Award, Healthy Paws is committed to supporting pet parents with outstanding customer service and intuitive technology that makes filing claims fast and easy.

“We’ve worked hard, but are still just getting started! Our passion for pets drives us to wow our pet parents everyday with extraordinary service and affordable coverage,” says Brian Jorgensen, Chief Operating Officer of Healthy Paws. “While we strive for a seamless experience on both our website and mobile app, our customer care team takes the time to actively listen to our pet parents and deliver beyond their expectations.”

While pet insurance continues growing rapidly as a voluntary employee benefit, only 2% of the cats and dogs in the US are enrolled in an active policy (Europe boasts a 20% coverage rate; NAPHIA; May 2017). These numbers are projected to steadily rise as veterinarian science continues to advance, improving pets’ lives, but also driving up the cost of pet ownership overall. With a quarter of a million pets insured, however, Healthy Paws’ pet parents won’t have to choose between quality pet medical care and their wallet.

*CO.DON: EU authorisation for articular cartilage product from European Commission *

Berlin / Teltow, 13 July 2017 - On 12 July 2017 CO.DON AG received official notification that authorisation had been granted for Spherox, an autologous human pharmaceutical product for the treatment of degenerative and traumatic cartilage defects in the knee.

The approved indication follows all aspects of the preceding positive opinion from the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) and comprises the repair of symptomatic articular cartilage ICRS Grade III or IV defects on the femoral condyle and the knee patella, for defects of up to 10 cm² for adults.

Dr Bernd Wegener, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CO.DON AG: "I congratulate the staff of CO.DON AG on this great achievement and thank them on behalf of the Supervisory Board for all their hard work and dedication in recent years. Obtaining EU marketing authorisation for the articular cartilage product was CO.DON AG's most important strategic goal. This shows that a medium-sized company can also master the long process of pharmaceutical innovation in the specialist area of personalised medicine".

Dirk Hessel, CEO of co.don AG:* *"The thanks of the Executive Board also go primarily to all the employees of CO.DON AG. We are proud to have reached this milestone. Now we have the great chance of breaking into a multimillion euro market with one of the very few human pharmaceuticals authorised across the EU and with no European competition in our market segment - and we intend to tackle this challenge with the same energy and dedication as the task we have just mastered. Joint preservation before joint replacement - we are ready to market our regenerative methods throughout Europe."

*About CO.DON AG:* CO.DON AG develops, produces and markets in Germany autologous cell therapies for the minimally invasive repair of cartilage damage in joints following traumatic or degenerative defects. CO.DON condrosphere(R) is a cell therapy product that uses only the patient's own cartilage cells ("autologous chondrocytes"). A National Shortage of Trained Butchers and Meat Cutters Means Vacant Jobs in Seattle Area Are Getting Harder to Fill

B & E Meats and Seafood is seeking butchers and meat cutters but vacant jobs in the Seattle area are getting harder to fill with qualified employees.

Seattle,WA (PRWEB) July 13, 2017

One nostalgic butchery shop, founded in 1958 in the Seattle area by Bob & Earl Green, who are now retired, built up a solid track record as a successful business with happy customers who not only care about where their food comes from, they also appreciate the extra special attention provided to them while shopping. In fact in 2014 B & E Meats and Seafood's customers helped them garner the #1 Best Butcher status in the KING5 Evening Magazine Best of Western Washington contest further cementing their success. Now nearing sixty years in business B & E is training their third generation.

“However, that all said, finding a qualified butcher or meat cutter who can also deliver exceptional customer service to fill a vacant butcher position has become increasingly more difficult over the years,” says Jeff Green, Co-owner and grandson of Earl Green. In fact, B & E Meats and Seafood has been trying to hire a full-time butcher for about three months. And although they have had several part time meat clerks join their experienced butchery team as a result of their recruitment efforts, that included using social media, Craig’s list postings, placing signs on their doors, and networking with culinary schools and high schools, no full-time butchers have been hired this year.

“Years ago, we would get dozens of applicants with one posting on Craig’s list. Now, the applications are few and far between,” adds Green. Their colleagues, who own other local butcher shops at Pike Place Market based in Seattle, are equally challenged by the hiring dilemma, so they agree to collaborate if there is a candidate the other butcher shop can interview that may be a better fit for one or the other.

“The number of butcher and meat cutter jobs in the United States declined from 146,000 in 1997 to 137,000 last year.” (Boston Globe, May 18, 2016) With meat cutter jobs declining year over year, butcher shops nationwide can expect increasing difficulty in finding butchers to fill their open positions.

Meat cutters or clerks are trained on the job at B & E Meats and Seafood. Restaurant, food, deli, seafood, or meat market experience are all a plus, but not required because most people applying to work at most butcher shops lack experience in meat cutting. Green believes that if you have the right personality, and are willing to work at a fast pace, he can teach you the rest. Green adds, "If you have amazing customer service skills and enjoy delicious food, you are encouraged to seek joining our star team."

One employee recently wrote a testimonial saying, "Working at B & E is great! The family atmosphere and the teamwork is awesome and it really feels like you are included in every aspect of the business. Not to mention the food is AMAZING."

Green reports, “We pay top wages based on your experience (DOE). Health insurance, retirement plan and paid holidays are included. We are busiest on weekends, so you must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. The good news is that we are only open during the day, so anyone wanting to give up a night job, like candidates working for a restaurant or grocery store chain, may be interested in applying. We have both full and part time work available. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.”

Are you an experienced butcher, meat cutter or meat clerk looking for a change? B & E Meats and Seafood is hiring full-time butchers and part time meat clerks to join their exceptional butchery team. Green adds, "If you can deliver excellent customer service, have experience executing merchandising and displays, and can cut meat too, look no further. We are a family-owned business since 1958 and we like to treat our staff like family too."

Candidates can send their resume to: Resume(at)BandEmeats(dot)com. To learn more about B & E Meats and Seafood, visit their website at: http://www.bnemeats.com. Try any one of their four locations in Des Moines, Queen Anne, Newcastle and Burien.
